Technical Accounting Manager

About the role

Own the technical accounting agenda for a fast‑growing kitchen‑space provider, drafting global policies and providing IFRS guidance on complex transactions. Collaborate with auditors, legal, tax, FP&A and senior leadership to resolve accounting matters and keep stakeholders informed of emerging standards.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and maintain global accounting policies, memos and guidance notes.
• Provide technical IFRS advice on M&A, restructurings, new contracts, debt/equity issuances and joint ventures.
• Partner with auditors, legal, tax, FP&A and senior leadership to resolve complex accounting issues.
• Lead projects related to new IFRS implementations, system changes or reporting enhancements.
• Represent the company in discussions with external auditors and contribute to comment letters or industry forums.

Required profile

• 7–10 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in technical accounting or financial reporting.
• Strong exposure to IFRS standards (IFRS 9, 15, 16, 3, 10).
• Background in Big 4 accounting/advisory (Audit, Accounting Advisory Services, or Transaction Accounting) is strongly preferred.
• Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently, conduct in‑depth technical research and communicate complex issues to non‑finance stakeholders.
