Technical Manager – Large‑Scale Tunnelling & Sewerage

About the role

CSCEC ME is seeking an experienced Technical Manager to lead the engineering function for large‑scale tunnelling and sewerage infrastructure projects in the UAE. The role involves technical leadership, coordination with multiple stakeholders, and ensuring constructability of underground works.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the technical engineering function for tunnelling and sewerage network works.
• Review and coordinate design deliverables, construction methodologies, shop drawings, calculations, specifications and technical submissions.
• Provide technical leadership for micro tunnelling, pipe jacking, TBM works, shafts, sewer pipelines and associated structures.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors and authorities to resolve technical issues and interfaces.
• Identify technical risks, constraints and potential delays and develop mitigation measures.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 15+ years of experience in major infrastructure projects, with significant tunnelling and underground sewerage work.
• Strong background in roads, utilities, underpasses, drainage and related infrastructure.
