Technical Presales Consultant – SD-WAN & SASE

About the role

The company is seeking an experienced Technical Presales Consultant to design and sell SD‑WAN and SASE solutions for enterprise customers in the UAE. The role involves translating customer requirements into secure, scalable network architectures and supporting the sales cycle from discovery to proposal.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with customers to gather business, networking, security and connectivity requirements.
• Design high‑level and low‑level solution architectures, including HLDs, LLDs, BOMs and technical proposals.
• Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations and proof‑of‑concepts.
• Support RFP/RFI/RFQ responses and address technical queries throughout the sales process.
• Collaborate with sales, solution architects, delivery teams and vendors to ensure viable, competitive solutions.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of technical presales or solution‑architecture experience in networking and cybersecurity.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Willingness to work onsite in Dubai and travel for customer meetings.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field (preferred).

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of SD‑WAN architecture, deployment models, QoS and WAN technologies (MPLS, LTE/5G, VPN).
• Expertise in SASE components: SWG, CASB, ZTNA, FWaaS and cloud‑delivered security.
• Experience preparing HLDs, LLDs, BOMs, RFP/RFI responses and POCs.
• Familiarity with leading vendor solutions such as Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks, Versa, HPE Aruba, Cato, Zscaler and Netskope.
