Technical Sales Engineer (Electrical)

About the role

PWORLD is looking for a Technical Sales Engineer with strong expertise in electrical and control systems, based in Dubai, UAE. The engineer prepares technical and commercial proposals for turnkey solution projects, understands customer needs, develops engineering solutions, selects equipment, coordinates with suppliers and supports the sales team through the project lifecycle. The role covers airport equipment and MRO hangar and infrastructure projects, ensuring electrical works comply with project specifications, local regulations and international standards. Two vacancies are available.

Key responsibilities

• Review RFQs, specifications, drawings and tender documents to prepare compliant technical and commercial proposals.
• Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, pricing sheets and commercial summaries.
• Develop technical solutions, compliance statements, deviations, SLDs, control schematics and system architecture drawings.
• Select electrical and control system equipment and coordinate with OEMs and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with IEC, BS, IEEE, NEC and local authority regulations.
• Prepare engineering documentation such as technical submittals, material datasheets, method statements, BOMs and engineering calculations.
• Support the sales team, attend customer meetings, technical presentations and tender clarifications.
• Support project handover, engineering, procurement, execution, commissioning, FAT/SAT and after-sales activities.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants and contractors, and help plan, schedule and monitor projects.

Required profile

• 3-5 years of experience; salary depends on experience.
• Experience in airport equipment and MRO hangar projects, or other infrastructure projects, is preferred.
• UAE/GCC experience is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of authority approval processes (DEWA, Civil Defense, etc.) is an advantage.
• Membership in a professional engineering body is an advantage.
• UAE driving licence holder.
