Technical Service Engineer – Industrial Machinery

About the role

The company is seeking a Technical Service Engineer to install, commission and maintain jewellery and industrial machinery across the UAE and GCC region. The role involves on‑site travel to customer locations and occasional trips abroad for supplier training.

Key responsibilities

• Install and commission jewellery machinery and related equipment.
• Diagnose, repair and perform preventive maintenance on mechanical, electronic and power‑electronics faults.
• Train customers on machine operation and provide technical support.
• Read circuit diagrams, wiring schematics and troubleshoot circuit boards using multimeters, oscilloscopes and other diagnostic tools.
• Coordinate with international suppliers' technical teams for troubleshooting and support.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Electronics, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience servicing industrial machinery.
• Hands‑on circuit‑board repair and fine SMD soldering experience.
• UAE driving licence and willingness to travel.

Required skills

• Power electronics, rectifiers, power supplies and induction heating systems.
• Basic knowledge of PLCs, controllers, touchscreens and stepper/servo drives.
• Proficiency with multimeters, oscilloscopes and diagnostic equipment.
• Experience with CNC machines, 3D printers, casting machines, laser welding/marking, rolling mills, polishing/cleaning machines, electroplating rectifiers and ultrasonic cleaners.
