Technical Support Engineer

About the role

Careers International is hiring a Technical Support Engineer in Dubai within the automotive sector. The engineer works with the main technical support team to resolve complex technical issues while following manufacturer standards, and supports foremen and technicians during vehicle preparation, repairs and troubleshooting.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support to foremen and technicians during vehicle preparation, repairs and troubleshooting, guiding them through fault diagnosis to improve repair efficiency.
• Support Service Advisors with technical explanations for customer concerns and repair requirements.
• Manage technical support cases, prepare reports and ensure timely closure of issues.
• Conduct vehicle inspections, road tests and final quality checks before delivery.
• Investigate comeback jobs and customer complaints, documenting findings according to ISO procedures.
• Provide on-site technical assistance during emergency breakdowns when required.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards, QHSEMS requirements and workplace safety practices.

Required profile

• B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering.
• 3-4 years of experience in a similar role with an OEM or authorized dealership.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and advanced technologies.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and electronic vehicle issues.
