Techno-Functional D365 F&O Consultant

About the role

A young, energetic Techno-Functional Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Consultant is sought, with hands-on exposure across all F&O modules and a strong understanding of end-to-end business processes and integrations across the D365 ecosystem. The role combines functional expertise, technical customization, reporting and Power BI analytics, acting as a key link between business users and technical teams.

Key responsibilities

• Implement, configure and support D365 F&O across core modules such as Finance (GL, AP, AR, FA, Budgeting), Project Management & Accounting and Sales & Marketing (CRM)
• Understand end-to-end process flows and integration between F&O modules, and integrate D365 F&O with Dynamics CRM / CE, Power Platform and third-party systems
• Gather business requirements and turn them into functional and technical design documents
• Support UAT, training, data validation and post-go-live operations, and act as a trusted advisor to Finance and business stakeholders
• Customize D365 F&O using extensions, forms, workflows and security roles, and maintain reports
• Support integrations, data entities, the Data Management Framework, data migration, reconciliation and performance support
• Design Power BI dashboards and reports, create MIS, KPIs and management reports, and understand the F&O data model, entities and tables

Required profile

• 3-5 years of experience as a Techno-Functional Consultant on D365 F&O
• Hands-on exposure to all major F&O modules and cross-module integrations
• Experience integrating D365 F&O with other D365 applications and external systems
• Preferred: experience in IT services, consulting or project-based organizations, and D365 certifications
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Young, energetic, self-driven, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ownership and attention to detail
