Telco Account Executive – AIM

About the role

The Telco Account Executive – AIM will lead Apple’s partnership strategy with telecom operators across Africa, the Islands and the Middle East. Reporting to the Telco Lead, you will be responsible for driving sales and adoption of Apple products and services through both direct engagement with operators and collaboration with Apple’s value‑added distributors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior decision‑makers at telecom operators.
• Create and execute strategic and tactical plans to meet Apple’s sell‑through targets.
• Collaborate with Apple cross‑functional teams and regional sales leaders to align resources and resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with Apple‑Telco agreements and competitive positioning of iPhone in consumer and business offers.
• Enable and support value‑added distributor teams managing Telco accounts.
• Identify market trends, competitor activity and growth opportunities to expand Apple’s presence.
• Coordinate above‑the‑line marketing activities and increase penetration in Telco points of sale.

Required profile

• Proven experience selling technology or consumer electronics to telecom operators.
• Strong relationship‑building and negotiation skills at senior executive level.
• Ability to develop and implement both strategic and tactical sales plans.
• Excellent understanding of the telecom market and Apple product portfolio.
• Track record of achieving or exceeding sales quotas.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Apple product ecosystem.
• Familiarity with telecom operator business models.
