Testing & Commissioning Engineer – Pumping Station Project

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Testing & Commissioning Engineer to lead the testing and commissioning activities for a pumping station project in Fujairah, UAE. The role involves planning, executing, and documenting all electrical and electromechanical system tests to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute testing and commissioning of pumping station systems.
• Perform pre‑commissioning, functional testing and final commissioning of pumps, motors, MCCs, VFDs, control panels and instrumentation.
• Verify installations against approved drawings, specifications and method statements.
• Prepare and review testing procedures, checklists and commissioning reports.
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve issues during testing and commissioning stages.
• Coordinate with construction, electrical, mechanical and client teams to ensure smooth hand‑over.
• Ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures, safety standards and local regulations.
• Support performance testing and final acceptance activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in testing and commissioning of pumping stations.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and electromechanical systems.
• Ability to work independently on site with minimal supervision.
• Good understanding of commissioning procedures, safety practices and documentation.
• Strong problem‑solving and coordination skills.
• Immediate availability or short notice period preferred.
