Travel & Tourism Teacher – British Curriculum School in Dubai

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Travel & Tourism Teacher to join our British Curriculum school in Dubai. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons that develop students' knowledge of travel, tourism, and hospitality while fostering practical skills.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver Travel & Tourism lessons in line with the British Curriculum.
• Develop students' understanding of industry concepts through varied teaching strategies and practical activities.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Maintain effective classroom management and promote an inclusive learning environment.
• Prepare teaching resources, assignments and assessment materials.
• Collaborate with colleagues, the Head of Department and school management to achieve departmental goals.
• Participate in school activities, meetings and professional development programmes.
• Undertake any additional teaching‑related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Travel & Tourism.
• 1‑2 years of teaching experience in a British Curriculum school.
• Strong knowledge of Travel & Tourism concepts, industry practices and curriculum requirements.
• Proven experience in lesson planning, student assessment and classroom management.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Immediate availability preferred; candidates currently residing in the UAE are favoured.
