About the role
The Tug Master is responsible for the overall operation and navigation of the vessel MULTICAT BELYRYAR, ensuring safe and efficient maritime activities. This senior position combines hands‑on vessel handling with team leadership to maintain high standards of performance.
Key responsibilities
- Direct the navigation and maneuvering of the MULTICAT BELYRYAR in all operational conditions.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of deckhands and marine engineers on board.
- Monitor vessel systems and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Plan and execute towing operations, positioning tasks, and support for dredging activities.
- Maintain clear communication with port authorities, pilots, and client representatives.
Required profile
- Proven leadership ability in a maritime environment.
- Extensive experience in vessel operation and navigation.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and maritime regulations.
- Ability to manage a diverse crew and foster a productive work atmosphere.
