About the role

WESGREEN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL – Sharjah is seeking an enthusiastic UAE Social Studies A teacher for the upcoming academic year. The role involves delivering the Social Studies curriculum to primary students and creating an engaging, inspiring learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver dynamic Social Studies lessons aligned with the UAE Ministry of Education standards.
• Foster a supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and curiosity.
• Utilise IT tools to enhance teaching and maintain effective communication with parents.
• Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Studies or a related field, with a teaching qualification such as B.Ed. or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching at primary level.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Holder of a sponsor visa is preferred; MOE TLS license is a plus.

Required skills

• Solid subject knowledge in UAE Social Studies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency with IT resources for classroom use.
