Urology Specialist Registrar

About the role

We are seeking a Urology Specialist Registrar to join the Dubai Health Authority. The role involves providing comprehensive patient care in both hospital wards and outpatient clinics, supporting consultants and senior staff in diagnosis and treatment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver general care to patients on hospital wards and in outpatient clinics.
• Assist consultants and senior registrars in investigating, diagnosing and treating urology patients.
• Participate in departmental teaching programs, seminars and promote clinical research.
• Engage in quality improvement activities and departmental performance monitoring.
• Adopt new procedures and techniques within the urology specialty.
• Provide education and support to junior staff and contribute to continuing medical education.
• Undertake managerial duties such as planning workload and staffing.
• Maintain professional standards in line with organisational policies and international guidelines.
• Represent the department on committees and task forces as required.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Graduation from an accredited medical school.
• Possession of a recognized Membership, Fellowship, Board certification or equivalent in urology.
