Vice President, Financial Institutions Sales - Middle East & Africa

About the role

Citi's Services team sells cash management, trade, liquidity and custody solutions to financial institutions, public sector and corporate clients. This Vice President role sits in the Financial Institutions Sales team, managing a defined portfolio of clients across 3-5 countries in the Middle East and Africa. You will work closely with external clients to understand their transaction service needs and with internal Services Solution Sales and Product teams to deliver products, while helping expand revenue and retain existing business.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a client portfolio across 3-5 countries, ensuring service excellence and client experience.
• Work with Services Solution Sales and Product Sales Managers to align on sales activities and drive project completion through product adoption and revenue realization.
• Support coordination of critical projects, including implementation of new solutions and Voice of the Client feedback.
• Support KYC and AML requirements for new and existing business.
• Lead client communication on product migrations, regulatory changes and market updates, and host Client Experience relationship reviews with key clients and senior decision makers.
• Review monthly revenue analysis, prepare summaries, track revenue and forecast.
• Help understand clients' ad-hoc credit needs and take part in the monthly overdraft management process.
• Manage documentation deficiency and deferral processes in coordination with Risk and Compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in client or relationship management roles within financial institutions or transaction banking.
• Solid understanding of liquidity, payments and trade solutions products.
• Fluent English; spoken and written Arabic strongly preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation and problem-solving skills, with clear written and verbal communication.
