Visual Merchandiser

About the role

A luxury fashion employer in Dubai is looking for a Visual Merchandiser to manage the visual presentation of its store portfolio. The role ensures stores are regularly visited and merchandised in line with brand guidelines and business needs, and liaises regularly with all stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Create a VM calendar for each brand and monitor the effectiveness of displays and windows, planning changes where needed
• Manage procurement and installation of window displays, props and POS in a timely and efficient way
• Work with the procurement department and suppliers to produce high-quality display materials and POS
• Make data-driven decisions with internal stakeholders to maximise the commercial potential of stores
• Adapt brand-driven visual concepts to store design and mall guidelines, and create strategies to implement current fashion trends in store displays
• Visit competitors regularly and report on the latest trends
• Develop strong relationships with brand VM teams and provide monthly photo reports to brands
• Develop training materials and run regular VM training sessions with staff and management
• Support external events and marketing activations, and manage the VM visit schedule of subordinates

Required profile

• Graduate in any discipline with tertiary qualifications in fine or commercial arts
• 5 years of experience in a VM or merchandising role
