Waiter – The Bay Restaurant

About the role

The Bay restaurant at Mandarin Oriental Jumeira, Dubai is seeking a professional Waiter/Waitress to deliver exceptional food and beverage service. You will work closely with managers and teammates to ensure each guest enjoys a seamless and memorable dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain thorough knowledge of The Bay’s concept, menu and beverage offerings and communicate them to guests.
• Complete mise en place and cleaning tasks before and during service to ensure efficiency.
• Process orders using the POS system, handle billing, and manage non‑cash payments such as MOHG Gift cards.
• Upsell products, monitor guest preferences and allergies, and support other outlets as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a waiter/waitress, preferably in a high‑volume, luxury hotel or fine‑dining environment.
• High school qualification; hospitality or business diploma is a plus.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to anticipate guest needs.

Required skills

• Proficiency with restaurant point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
• Basic computer skills, including MS Office.
