Waiter/Waitress – Luxury Hotel Dining

About the role

Join the Colbert Collection at Dukes The Palm Dubai Hotel as a Waiter/Waitress, delivering high‑quality service to guests in a luxury setting inspired by Parisian boulevard cafés. You will support the restaurant manager in achieving excellent guest satisfaction scores and ensure every guest’s needs are met with professionalism and flexibility.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and escort guests to their tables, presenting menus and explaining specials, portions, ingredients and allergy information.
• Set up tables with linens, silverware and glasses, maintaining a tidy dining area throughout service.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, up‑sell where appropriate, and deliver orders promptly.
• Serve food and beverages, check dishes for cleanliness and presentation, and address any issues with the kitchen.
• Present checks, collect payments and follow all health department regulations.
• Collaborate with the team to recognise repeat guests and contribute to high guest‑satisfaction survey scores.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a waiter/waitress in a large luxury hotel (minimum 500 rooms).
• Strong communication, active listening and team‑spirit.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts and adapt to business demands.
• High school diploma; food‑safety training is a plus.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities in a fast‑paced environment.
