Waiter/Waitress – Luxury Hotel, Dubai

About the role

We are seeking a professional Waiter/Waitress to join the dining team at Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre, a Forbes Five‑Star luxury property. The successful candidate will deliver refined, personalized service that reflects the elegance and high standards of the hotel.

Key responsibilities

• Provide warm, anticipatory service to guests, ensuring each interaction is courteous and precise.
• Create tailored dining experiences by anticipating guest preferences and responding intuitively.
• Maintain expert knowledge of food, wine and beverage menus, including ingredients, preparation methods, portion sizes and allergen information.
• Promote daily specials and menu enhancements, using suggestive selling techniques to enhance guest satisfaction and drive sales.
• Accurately record orders using approved order pads and POS systems and communicate them promptly to the kitchen.
• Monitor the dining experience, address guest concerns promptly and ensure overall satisfaction.
• Set and maintain immaculate tables with pristine linens, polished cutlery and elegant glassware; clear and reset tables efficiently.

Required profile

• Previous experience in fine‑dining or luxury hotel service.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Required skills

• Proficiency with point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
• Knowledge of food, wine and beverage service standards.
