Waiter/Waitress – Manor Club

About the role

The Manor Club at Rosewood Abu Dhabi is seeking a professional Waiter/Waitress to deliver high‑quality food and beverage service in line with hotel standards. You will interact with guests, take orders, serve meals and drinks, and ensure a memorable dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Take food and beverage orders, suggest menu items, and input orders into the POS system.
• Serve alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages, open wine/champagne, and prepare coffee according to brand standards.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, wine list, and liquor selections, and comply with state liquor regulations.
• Set up and clear tables, manage side stations, and ensure cleanliness of the service area.
• Handle guest payments, process checks, and report tips at shift end.
• Guide bus staff, respond to guest inquiries, and resolve complaints following the six‑step procedure.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience as a waiter/waitress in a hotel or upscale restaurant.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure, maintain attention to detail, and provide courteous guest service.

Required skills

• Proficiency with POS (Point‑of‑Sale) systems.
• Knowledge of wine, champagne, and liquor service standards.
• Ability to suggestively sell menu items and beverages.
