Warehouse Storekeeper

About the role

The Warehouse Storekeeper at Miral ensures smooth warehouse operations by receiving, inspecting, storing, and issuing goods across multiple departments. The role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and adherence to food safety and warehouse standards.

Key responsibilities

• Receive goods, match invoices, delivery notes and purchase orders, and generate Goods Received Notes (GRNs).
• Conduct quantity, expiry, temperature and weight checks, and store items in appropriate sections (freezers, chillers, dry store).
• Issue items to internal departments and external clients based on requisitions, work orders and material requests.
• Perform regular stock counts, cycle counts and inventory updates in Maximo/Eatec systems.
• Maintain warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jack, scales, thermometers, hygrometers) and ensure cleanliness and HACCP compliance.
• Manage temporary storage areas, coordinate inter‑site transfers and handle rejected deliveries.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of operational experience in a warehouse or supply‑chain environment.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience using inventory management systems such as Maximo or Eatec.
• Ability to operate a forklift and other warehouse handling equipment.
• Basic knowledge of barcoding and inventory labeling.
