Wedding & Event Carpenter

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Wedding & Event Carpenter to join our production team, responsible for building and installing wooden structures for weddings, parties, corporate events, exhibitions and other special occasions across the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Manufacture, assemble and finish stages, backdrops, arches, walls, partitions, counters and custom decorative structures in the workshop.
• Install, adjust and dismantle these structures on‑site, ensuring stability, levelness and compliance with event schedules.
• Modify existing pieces, perform repairs and maintain company‑owned furniture and tools.
• Collaborate with designers, decorators, florists, electricians and production staff to translate designs into practical builds.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of carpentry experience, preferably in weddings, events, exhibitions or stage production.
• Ability to read basic drawings, measurements and design plans.
• Physically fit, able to work long hours, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, able to work under tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Practical carpentry and fabrication with wood, plywood, MDF, laminate and similar materials.
• Operation of carpentry hand tools and power tools safely.
• Accurate measuring, cutting, shaping, drilling, sanding and finishing techniques.
• Problem‑solving for on‑site fabrication issues and ability to estimate material requirements.
