Welding Technician

About the role

Kitopi, a leading food‑tech company operating smart kitchens across the Gulf, is seeking a skilled Welding Technician to join its maintenance and technical teams. You will be responsible for fabricating and installing steel structures that support the company’s high‑throughput kitchen operations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform welding and fabrication of steel structures, frames, brackets, supports and other metal components.
• Carry out MIG/MAG, ARC and, when needed, TIG welding processes.
• Cut, shape, grind and prepare steel materials for welding, following technical drawings and specifications.
• Inspect completed welds for strength, quality and accuracy, and repair defects as required.
• Assemble and install fabricated components, operate welding machines and related tools safely, and maintain a clean work area.

Required profile

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a steel welder or fabricator.
• Practical knowledge of MIG/MAG and ARC welding techniques; TIG welding is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and welding specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
• Relevant welding certification or technical training is advantageous.
