About the role
As an Account Manager at finera., you will own a portfolio of merchant clients, ensuring they receive maximum value from the company’s payment solutions. You will build trusted, long‑term relationships, understand each merchant’s operations, and provide proactive guidance that drives performance, optimisation and retention.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned merchants, developing strategic relationships with key stakeholders.
- Guide new merchants through onboarding, ensuring a smooth transition and full adoption of payment services.
- Analyse performance data and deliver insights that improve product usage and merchant engagement.
- Collect and present customer feedback to identify product and service improvement opportunities.
- Monitor merchant health, anticipate churn risks and implement retention strategies.
- Identify and pursue upsell opportunities that increase merchant lifetime value.
- Prepare regular performance reports and use data‑driven recommendations to optimise merchant outcomes.
- Collaborate with sales, risk, compliance and product teams to address merchant needs and drive cross‑functional initiatives.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or a related field.
- Proven success in a customer‑facing role, preferably within FinTech or technology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, able to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a data‑informed decision‑making approach.
- Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Fluency in English; Russian language skills are highly valued.
- Experience integrating AI tools into daily workflows to improve efficiency and innovation.

- CRM platforms (preference for Salesforce).
- AI tool integration.
