Accountant – Abu Dhabi

About the role

York Consultants is seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to join its Abu Dhabi office. The role will support daily bookkeeping, financial reporting and VAT compliance while ensuring the integrity of the company’s accounting records.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records and process financial transactions.
• Assist with daily bookkeeping and preparation of financial reports.
• Support VAT‑related documentation, filing and compliance activities.
• Prepare periodic reports and perform account reconciliations.
• Utilise accounting software and Microsoft Excel for financial analysis.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth financial operations.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of professional accounting experience.
• Knowledge of UAE accounting practices and VAT regulations (preferred).
• Strong analytical and communication abilities.
• Immediate availability is an advantage.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with accounting software.

What we offer

• Competitive salary ranging from AED 4,500 to AED 6,500 per month.
