Accountant

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Accountant with strong knowledge of accounting operations and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience in maintaining the General Ledger, Trial Balance, and day‑to‑day accounting activities.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update the General Ledger and accounting records.
• Prepare and review the Trial Balance and ensure accuracy of ledger balances.
• Record and reconcile financial transactions.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable activities.
• Prepare routine financial reports and accounting statements.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company accounting procedures.
• Coordinate with internal departments regarding financial transactions and supporting documents.

Required profile

• Arabic language proficiency – mandatory.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Relevant experience as an Accountant.
• Strong hands‑on knowledge of General Ledger and Trial Balance.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial documentation.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Similar experience is preferred.
