Accountant - Employee Expenses

About the role

Dubai Airports is seeking an Accountant focused on employee expenses within its Corporate Services division. The role supports fast‑paced finance and procurement processes, ensuring accurate payroll and expense management.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze monthly payroll changes, recalculate entitlements, investigate differences, and prepare payment records and invoices.
• Review employee claims, end‑of‑service benefits, temporary staff payments, education claims, allowances, and other expense items in line with company policies.
• Reconcile payroll‑generated reports with GPSSA billing records, DEWS schedules, and other statutory or third‑party benefit payments, validating contribution data and amounts.
• Respond promptly to employee and stakeholder queries on payroll, claims, and expenses, coordinating with HR, Finance, Business Units, and external parties to resolve issues.

Required profile

• Higher Diploma or Diploma in Accounting (preferred).
• 6 months to 3 years of relevant payroll/expense experience and 1 to 5 years of overall professional experience.
• Knowledge of employee payroll expenses, including claims, end‑of‑service, pension, and account reconciliation.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and ability to identify accounting non‑compliance.
