Accountant – Joinery Division, Abu Dhabi

About the role

Al Khalidiya Group is seeking an Accountant for its Joinery Division in Abu Dhabi. The role will handle day‑to‑day accounting operations, support project costing and ensure compliance with UAE VAT and internal procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Process daily accounting transactions, including invoices, receipts and payments.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, and perform bank, supplier, customer and general‑ledger reconciliations.
• Monitor project‑related costs, expenses and profitability, and assist in budgeting and cost‑control analysis.
• Coordinate with procurement, production, sales and project teams on financial matters and verify supporting documents.
• Prepare monthly financial, cost and management reports, and support audit and VAT documentation requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of accounting experience in the UAE, preferably in construction or manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of general accounting, reconciliations, invoicing and financial reporting.
• Understanding of project costing, expense tracking and cost control.
• High attention to detail, analytical mindset and ability to meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with ERP or accounting software.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and basic tax accounting.
