Accountant – Finance & Reporting

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to join our dynamic catering and food‑service team in Dubai. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance, and providing insights that support strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain financial statements and reports using accounting software, adhering to local regulations.
• Monitor financial performance, analyse variances and present actionable insights to management.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and payments.
• Perform regular bank and ledger reconciliations to guarantee data integrity.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with department heads.
• Support the annual audit by preparing documentation and liaising with external auditors.
• Implement internal controls to protect company assets and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior accounting staff.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
• Good understanding of UAE accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with vendors, clients and auditors.
