Accountant (Financial Planning & Analysis)

About the role

The Accountant (Financial Planning & Analysis) will support ADNOC Drilling by preparing accurate accounting records, financial statements, and cash flow projections in line with company policies. This role ensures the integrity of financial data and assists in maintaining adequate liquidity for the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accounting records and financial statements according to company policies, procedures, and timelines.
• Maintain ledgers, statements, and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Perform initial checks and verifications of data input to guarantee completeness and accuracy before processing transactions.
• Allocate appropriate accounting codes or cost centers to transactions in line with policy.
• Reconcile accounts periodically to ensure accurate recording of all transactions.
• Prepare supplier payments by verifying invoice amounts against contracts and submit for approval.
• Ensure allocations follow the Chart of Accounts Manual.
• Develop cash flow projections to support liquidity planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Professional certifications as applicable.
