Accountant – Tour & Travel

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our tour and travel company in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting knowledge, UAE VAT expertise, and hands‑on experience with Zoho Books and Zoho CRM.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting transactions, invoices, bills, receipts, and expenses.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, following up on outstanding payments.
• Perform bank, cash, customer, and supplier reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate financial records and prepare regular reports.
• Assist with UAE VAT preparation and compliance.
• Manage accounting for travel bookings, tour packages, hotels, tickets, suppliers, refunds, and commissions.
• Coordinate with sales and operations teams to reconcile booking and payment records.
• Maintain and review customer/account information in Zoho CRM.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Travel agency or tourism industry experience is an advantage.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Zoho Books.
• Working knowledge of Zoho CRM.
• Good understanding of UAE accounting standards and VAT.
• Experience in tour & travel or hospitality accounting preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and Google Sheets.
