Accountant – VAT & Corporate Tax Specialist (Dubai)

About the role

Bestax Chartered Accountants is seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to support its Dubai office. The role focuses on VAT and corporate tax compliance, financial reporting and providing strategic tax advice to a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit VAT filings and corporate tax returns for local and international clients.
• Deliver strategic tax planning and advice, including cross‑border considerations.
• Liaise with tax authorities, manage tax audits and resolve related inquiries.
• Maintain accurate financial records and produce financial statements and reports.
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver integrated client solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• ACCA or equivalent professional qualification.
• 4‑5 years of experience in accounting and tax, with strong VAT and corporate tax exposure.
• Proven experience handling clients across various industries and regions.
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

• Advanced use of Microsoft Office Suite.
