Accountant – VAT & Corporate Tax Specialist

About the role

Bestax Chartered Accountants is seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to support its Dubai office. You will handle VAT filings, corporate tax returns and financial reporting for a diverse client base spanning multiple industries and regions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit VAT filings and corporate tax returns for local and international clients.
• Provide strategic tax planning and advice, including cross‑border considerations.
• Liaise with tax authorities, manage audits and resolve disputes.
• Maintain accurate financial records and produce financial statements and reports.
• Stay updated on tax law changes and advise clients on implications.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver integrated solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• ACCA or equivalent professional qualification.
• 3‑4 years of experience in accounting and tax, with strong VAT and corporate tax exposure.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Analytical thinker with strong problem‑solving skills.
• Multilingual capability is a plus.
