Accounting Senior

About the role

We are looking for an Accounting Senior to join our Dubai‑based audit firm. The role involves handling client transactions, supervising journal entries and supporting audit and tax engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Record client transactions in accounting software ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Supervise journal entries, manage general ledger reconciliations and oversee month‑end and year‑end closing.
• Support audit and assurance engagements as required.
• Prepare management reports and assist financial planning.
• Provide tax guidance on VAT and Corporate Tax and offer general business advisory.
• Implement and optimise accounting software and internal controls.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in an audit firm.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and currently pursuing a professional qualification (ICAI, ACCA or equivalent).
• Proficiency with accounting software such as Sage, Tally or ZohoBooks.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE regulatory requirements and VAT/Corporate Tax compliance.
• Excellent communication and client‑relationship skills with high professional integrity.
