Accounts Clerk

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Accounts Clerk to join our Finance team in Sharjah. The role supports the Paymaster and ensures accurate maintenance of accounting records while delivering high‑quality customer service to internal departments and external suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare requisitions for stationery and office supplies to keep the office running smoothly.
• Maintain accounting records and distribute incoming Finance Department mail.
• Verify and forward approved attendance sheets to the Paymaster.
• Assist the Paymaster with attendance sheet administration and payroll processing.
• Distribute pay slips to department heads and collect their signatures.
• Answer incoming calls, transfer as needed, and record messages accurately.
• Contact suppliers to follow up on pending payments.
• Ensure confidentiality of all financial and personnel records.

Required profile

• Degree in hotel management or accounting.
• Minimum 12 months of experience in a hotel finance environment.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, integrity and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Micros FBM.
• Experience using SUN System.
• Familiarity with Opera property management system.
• General computer literacy.
