Accounts Receivable Officer

About the role

We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Officer to join our finance team in Dubai. The role focuses on managing the billing cycle for equipment rentals, ensuring timely invoicing, and driving effective collection of outstanding payments.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and dispatch accurate customer invoices and billing statements.
• Monitor aging receivables, conduct collection follow‑ups and coordinate debt recovery.
• Reconcile customer ledgers, process bank payments and resolve balance discrepancies.
• Collaborate with Sales and Operations to verify billable hours, equipment logs and contract rates.
• Maintain audit‑ready digital and physical billing documentation.
• Prepare weekly receivable summaries, collection forecasts and aging reports for finance managers.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field.
• Proven experience in accounts receivable, invoicing and collections, preferably in equipment/machinery rental.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills for client interaction.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP accounting systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
