Accounts Receivable Supervisor

About the role

The Accounts Receivable Supervisor will lead the hotel’s receivables function, ensuring invoices are processed accurately, collections are timely, and guest accounts are reconciled. This role supports financial stability and strengthens client relationships within a dynamic hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the accounts receivable team, providing guidance and support.
• Oversee invoicing, billing, and collection processes to guarantee accuracy and timeliness.
• Monitor and reconcile guest and client accounts, addressing any discrepancies.
• Maintain positive relationships with clients and partners, handling inquiries related to invoices and payments.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve disputes and outstanding issues.
• Generate reports on receivable performance and aging balances.
• Analyze receivable data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Assist the head of finance with regular updates and credit control measures.
• Review credit applications and support credit decisions in partnership with the Credit Manager.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Provide training and mentorship to team members.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and audit requirements.
• Follow health, safety, and environmental procedures.
