Acquirer Engagement Director – B2B Acceptance

About the role

The Acquirer Engagement Director will join Visa Commercial Solutions’ B2B Acceptance team, driving commercial payment volume by scaling supplier acceptance through acquirer partnerships in the region. You will act as the primary liaison with acquirers, positioning Visa’s solutions as the preferred mechanism for B2B payments and working‑capital optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with acquirers to expand B2B Acceptance, selling Visa commercial solutions and integrating them into acquirer‑led pipelines.
• Identify and develop supplier acceptance opportunities across acquirer merchant portfolios, verticals, and supplier segments.
• Build and manage relationships with priority acquirers and payment partners, engaging decision‑makers across product, sales, and strategy teams.
• Provide consultative support to help acquirers articulate working‑capital value propositions to suppliers.
• Lead analytics and deal‑modeling efforts, collaborating with regional account executives, pricing, and business development teams.
• Enable acquirer sales teams with tools, narratives, and training, and support joint go‑to‑market plans and campaigns.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience (or 8+ years with an advanced degree) in sales, business development or related fields.
• Strong track record of driving growth through partnerships, especially within the payments ecosystem.
• Experience building and managing relationships with large‑scale stakeholders, preferably in commercial payments, acquiring, or B2B merchant environments.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills (written, oral, presentation).
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external partners to tailor solutions to local market conditions.
