About the role
The Rochester Institute of Technology Dubai is hiring an Adjunct (or Visiting) Professor to join its Economics department. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality undergraduate instruction in core economics subjects and supporting the university’s mission to provide an American‑style education in the UAE.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver lectures and lead discussions for Principles of Microeconomics.
- Deliver lectures and lead discussions for Principles of Macroeconomics.
- Potentially teach selected upper‑division courses such as International Trade & Finance.
- Develop course materials, assignments, and assessments aligned with RIT standards.
- Provide academic advising and mentorship to diverse student cohorts.
Required profile
- Doctoral degree in Economics or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrated ability to teach undergraduate economics courses.
- Active research interest in the broad field of economics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
