Arabic & Islamic Studies Teacher (Primary)

About the role

Nord Anglia International School Abu Dhabi is looking for an enthusiastic Arabic & Islamic Studies Teacher for the Primary phase. The role starts in January 2027 and involves delivering high‑quality teaching and learning in Arabic and Islamic Studies, driving strong student progress, engagement and achievement in line with MOE and ADEK requirements and the school’s vision.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Arabic and Islamic Studies lessons for Primary students.
• Monitor and assess student progress to ensure continuous improvement.
• Promote active student engagement and participation in class.
• Align curriculum delivery with UAE Ministry of Education (MOE) and Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK) standards.
• Uphold Nord Anglia Education’s teaching standards and the school’s vision of excellence.
• Encourage and develop a culture of inspiration, enjoyment and success.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share expertise and best practices.

Required profile

• Passionate teacher committed to continuous improvement.
• Strong experience of the UK national curriculum; experience of international education is an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with students, parents and colleagues.
• Flexibility and open‑mindedness to adapt quickly in a fast‑paced international environment.
• Willingness to contribute to extra‑curricular activities and school culture.
• Build strong working relationships with the school community.
