About the role
The Higher Colleges of Technology seeks an Adjunct Faculty member to deliver effective instruction in engineering subjects to second‑language learners. This temporary position supports a student‑centric environment while respecting diverse cultures and traditions.
Key responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate engineering courses, including capstone projects, work‑experience modules, and senior‑level specialized subjects.
- Participate in academic and extra‑curricular events within the college and the wider community.
- Engage in applied research, outreach activities, and support program development as needed.
- Maintain a teaching load not exceeding nine credits per semester, with workdays typically Monday‑Friday, 8:00 AM‑8:00 PM.
Required profile
- Master’s degree with relevant professional certification, or a Bachelor’s degree plus extensive industry experience and certification.
- Minimum of five years relevant industry experience preferred.
