Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Senior Analyst

About the role

The Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Senior Analyst will support Vertiv's Switchgear product line at the RAK manufacturing site in the UAE. Working within the EMEA Advanced Manufacturing Engineering organization, the role focuses on new product introduction, manufacturing readiness, and continuous improvement of production processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead NPDI readiness activities for Switchgear products, ensuring timely completion of manufacturing deliverables.
• Develop and implement manufacturing plans, including tooling, fixtures, layouts, work instructions, and bill of materials.
• Coordinate industrialisation with Product Engineering, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, and Plant Manufacturing Engineering.
• Drive design‑for‑manufacturability and design‑for‑assembly reviews to optimise cost, quality and efficiency.
• Support plant‑to‑plant product transfers and standardise manufacturing methods.
• Research and introduce new manufacturing technologies and practices.
• Perform manufacturing cost analysis, capacity analysis, line balancing and labour optimisation.
• Specify process capabilities, develop PFMEA and control plans, and lead structured problem‑solving initiatives.
• Participate in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma projects to improve productivity.

Required profile

• Proven experience in advanced manufacturing engineering within an industrial setting.
• Strong collaboration skills with cross‑functional teams such as Product Engineering, Quality and Operations.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and drive continuous improvement.
