About the role

We are seeking a commercially driven, customer‑focused Aftermarket Sales Consultant to support Volvo and SDLG construction equipment customers in the UAE. The role is the primary point of contact for parts and service requests, helping customers maximise the value of their equipment through proactive support and tailored solutions.

Key responsibilities

  • Plan and execute territory coverage, including regular field visits to understand customer needs and buying patterns.
  • Onboard new customers and promote aftermarket offerings such as preventive‑maintenance contracts, CSAs and Care Track solutions.
  • Support new equipment deliveries by presenting parts and service options.
  • Monitor customer requirements to ensure timely delivery and proactive communication.
  • Achieve sales targets for revenue, gross profit and market share across key product areas (undercarriage, GET, engine, power‑train, hydraulic attachments).
  • Identify and convert aftermarket sales opportunities, preparing quotations and proposals in collaboration with Service Managers and head‑office teams.
  • Maintain accurate customer and equipment data in internal systems and ensure personal equipment is kept in good condition.
  • Follow health, safety and environmental procedures and actively participate in safety programmes.

Required profile

  • Proven experience in aftermarket sales of construction equipment, preferably Volvo or SDLG.
  • Strong commercial mindset with the ability to identify sales opportunities and drive growth.
  • Excellent customer service orientation and ability to build long‑term relationships.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory for field visits and customer meetings.

Required skills

  • Knowledge of Volvo construction equipment.
  • Knowledge of SDLG construction equipment.
  • Familiarity with undercarriage, GET, engine, power‑train and hydraulic attachment components.
  • Experience with parts management and preparation of quotations.
