AI Researcher – Quantitative Trading

About the role

Vatic Labs is seeking an AI Researcher to design and implement cutting‑edge AI‑driven quantitative trading strategies. You will work with massive market and alternative data, leveraging state‑of‑the‑art large language models, deep neural networks, transformers and advanced prompt‑engineering techniques to identify and exploit trading opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Research and develop AI‑driven quantitative trading strategies.
• Explore and analyse large market and alternative data sets.
• Apply large language models, deep neural networks, transformers and advanced prompt‑engineering techniques to uncover trading opportunities.
• Collaborate with a team of researchers and technologists to publish findings and implement prototypes.

Required profile

• Master’s or Ph.D. in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Quantitative Finance, Physics or related field.
• Proven ability to conduct rigorous statistical and machine‑learning research on high‑dimensional data.
• Demonstrated experience with large language models and deep neural networks for practical applications.
• Strong publication record or equivalent professional research output.
• Interest in financial markets and quantitative trading is a plus.
