Aircraft Maintenance Team Lead - B2 GCAA/EASA with Global & Challenger Type Rating

About the role

Join Bombardier Transportation's new Abu Dhabi Service Center at Al Bateen Executive Airport. As the Aircraft Maintenance Team Lead, you will oversee daily maintenance operations for the full Bombardier aircraft portfolio, ensuring safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily aircraft maintenance activities, managing manpower, tooling, equipment, and hangar space.
• Provide technical guidance, troubleshooting, and supervision to maintenance teams.
• Certify maintenance actions, inspections, rectifications, and release to service in line with airworthiness requirements.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and proactively escalate issues to Project Managers.
• Ensure accurate and complete maintenance documentation, work packages, technical records, and regulatory reports.
• Promote a strong safety, quality, and compliance culture adhering to SMS, environmental standards, and company procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years (96 months) of aircraft maintenance experience.
• Valid B2 GCAA/EASA license with Global and Challenger type ratings.
• UAE nationals are strongly encouraged; candidates must be willing to relocate and reside in Abu Dhabi.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced MRO environment and manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Knowledge on EWIS and CDCCL.
• Ability to interpret and work with engineering drawings.
