Aircraft Systems Technician – Working Party

About the role

Airbus Customer Services is looking for an experienced Aircraft Technician (Systems) to join the IDSBCR Major Repair and Working Party team in Dubai. The role involves inspecting, maintaining and repairing aircraft systems on Airbus customer aircraft, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Execute modification embodiment or repair working parties, managing complex, high‑value cross‑functional projects under EASA/FAR Part 145 regulations.
• Conduct upgrade embodiment activities on external customer aircraft and perform major and complex repair projects, including fleet‑wide repairs.
• Inspect, troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel and environmental systems, using diagnostic equipment and technical manuals.
• Document all maintenance actions, parts used and labour hours in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• 15‑20 years of experience in MRO Part 145 or aircraft manufacturing (Part 21), with strong line and base maintenance background.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred; EASA Part 66 license is a plus.
• Proficiency in English (negotiation level); additional languages such as French are advantageous.
• Willingness to travel worldwide to support Airbus customers.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of aircraft systems (electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, environmental).
• Experience with flight control, engine removal/installation, and landing‑gear maintenance.
• Familiarity with aircraft maintenance manuals (AMM, TSM) and regulatory standards (EASA, FAA).
• Proficiency using diagnostic equipment, system‑specific tools and software for troubleshooting.
