Alignment Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an Alignment Engineer to help organisations improve their IT environments through remote assessments, technical reviews, and infrastructure optimisation. Working in a remote‑first setting, you will collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure technology standards are consistently applied and risks are mitigated.

Key responsibilities

• Perform remote standards and alignment reviews to identify improvement opportunities.
• Maintain, update and retire client standards templates as technologies evolve.
• Develop deep technical knowledge of assigned client environments and infrastructure.
• Review and keep client documentation accurate and up‑to‑date.
• Identify technical risks and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Provide technical recommendations and promote best practices across client environments.
• Proactively monitor and improve client infrastructure through remote management activities.
• Maintain strong client relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Stay informed about developments in IT systems, telecommunications, hardware and software.
• Support knowledge sharing, training and mentoring within the team.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in IT administration, technical support or a similar role.
• Strong analytical ability to assess, document and improve technology systems.
• Excellent communication skills with a customer‑focused mindset.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
