Alpine Race Trainer (Ski Dubai)

About the role

The Alpine Race Trainer will deliver high‑quality training programs for athletes of all ages and skill levels at Ski Dubai. You will help develop technical skiing abilities, race tactics, and overall athletic performance while ensuring a safe and engaging environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver Alpine Race training sessions for diverse athlete groups.
• Create seasonal training plans, set performance goals, and map athlete development pathways.
• Coach athletes on skiing techniques, race strategies, physical conditioning, and competition readiness.
• Assess athlete progress, provide feedback, and adjust programs for continuous improvement.
• Maintain safety standards and comply with health and operational regulations during all sessions.
• Support the planning and execution of races, competitions, training camps, and academy events.
• Build positive relationships with athletes, parents, and guests, offering professional guidance.
• Promote Alpine Race and Ski Academy programs and assist with instructor development initiatives.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent; higher qualifications in Sports Coaching, Physical Education, Sports Science or related fields are preferred.
• 2‑3 years of experience in Alpine ski racing, ski coaching, or a similar snow‑sports environment.
• Certified Ski Instructor with an internationally recognised qualification; ISIA certification is a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Excellent planning, organisational and problem‑solving skills with a focus on safety.
• Fluent English and flexibility to work shifts, weekends, public holidays and travel when required.
