Arabic Account Manager - Social Media

About the role

A boutique communications agency, ALÓ, is looking for a proactive Account Manager who leads client accounts with a strong social-first focus. The role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands platform nuances and can turn brand objectives into effective social media strategies. It is based in Dubai, in the GCC.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage regional and local client accounts with a social media-driven strategy
• Develop and present social media strategies, content plans and campaign ideas
• Act as the main point of contact for clients and coordinate with creative, content and media teams to deliver on time
• Oversee content calendars, campaign rollouts and platform-specific executions
• Monitor performance metrics, identify up-selling and cross-selling opportunities, and support new business pitches
• Brief creative teams, review content against brand voice and platform best practices, and track budgets and media spend

Required profile

• 4-6 years of experience in a digital or social media agency (essential)
• Lives in Dubai or the GCC and understands local culture and internet trends
• Bilingual at a fluent level in Arabic and English, written and spoken
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field
• Proven track record of managing and growing brand accounts in the UAE/GCC

Required skills

• Strong understanding of social platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X and YouTube
• Content strategy, influencer collaborations and digital campaign management
• Data interpretation and presentation to stakeholders
