Arabic Teacher (A and B) - Noya British School

About the role

Aldar Education is recruiting a full-time Arabic teacher (A and B) for Noya British School in Abu Dhabi for the academic year 2027/2028. The school is a flagship of the Aldar Schools brand, located on Yas Island in a community close to amenities and an international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lessons that inspire students to succeed, working with colleagues to plan engaging lessons that meet curriculum requirements.
• Plan, prepare and present sessions covering the whole ability range, organise classroom provision and learning resources, and create displays.
• Assess and record student progress using Target Tracker, use assessment data to inform planning and intervention, and give feedback to parents at conferences and other meetings.
• Manage classes effectively, follow the school's behaviour policy, and act as a positive role model.
• Work with curriculum support staff, and meet with professionals such as speech and language therapists, occupational therapists and educational psychologists when needed.
• Take part in curriculum action groups, school events and activities, and run a weekly ECA each term.
• Communicate with parents and carers about achievements and well-being using school systems such as CPOMS.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in the related subject with PGCE or another teacher qualification; documents must be attested.
• Minimum 1-2 years of teaching experience.
• Previous experience working with students for whom English is not their first language.
• Clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check or police check.
• Must reside in the same Emirate as the school.
