Arabic Teacher (A & B) - Noya British School

About the role

Aldar Education is recruiting an Arabic teacher (levels A and B) for Noya British School in Abu Dhabi for the academic year 2027/2028. The school is located on Yas Island and is described as the newest flagship school of the Aldar Schools brand, set in an international community close to amenities and entertainment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lessons that inspire students to succeed and work with colleagues to plan engaging lessons that meet curriculum requirements.
• Plan, prepare and present sessions covering the whole ability range, and assess and observe pupils in line with school assessments.
• Use assessment data recorded in Target Tracker to inform planning, provision and intervention, and give parents feedback at parent-teacher conferences.
• Manage classes effectively, follow the school's behaviour policy and act as a positive role model.
• Work with curriculum support staff, and meet with professionals such as speech and language therapists, occupational therapists and educational psychologists where needed.
• Take responsibility for a class's progress, run a weekly ECA each term, and take part in school events, outings and activities.
• Communicate with parents and carers about achievements and well-being using school systems such as CPOMS.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in the related subject with a PGCE or other teacher qualification; documents must be attested.
• At least 1-2 years of teaching experience.
• Experience working with students for whom English is not their first language.
• Clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check or police check.
• Must reside in the same Emirate as the school.
